<span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: verdana;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Some of the below tips can be useful as I too use it often.</span></span></p>
<p>1) Update your content often and regularly and <a href="http://www.askfreeweb.com/2008/08/ping-sitemaps-to-increase-google-yahoo-msn-crawl-bots/" target="_blank">ping</a> it through method i mention in the <a href="http://www.askfreeweb.com/2008/08/ping-sitemaps-to-increase-google-yahoo-msn-crawl-bots/">earlier post</a>.</p>
<p>2) Ensure you have taken good hosting provider. We recommend <a style="text-decoration: line-through;" rel="nofollow" href="http://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=cricketgod">Hostgator</a> as they provide best and cheapest hosting service world-wide.<span id="more-201"></span></p>
<p><span>3) Keep page load minimum. Keep less images and more content. More load time will reduce your other page crawling.</span></p>
<p>4) Any duplicate content not tolerated by Google. So dont post again and again same content.</p>
<p>5) Get more back links from regularly crawled sites. For this you can use commenting on your site related blogs.</p>
<p>6) Adjust the crawl speed via Google Webmaster tools. Usually normal or fast but you can go for slow if you want to reduce bandwidth.</p>
<p>7) Add a sitemap to your ftp. Either you can make autositemap generator through script or you can create sitemap once in a week through online sitemap generator. We use <a style="text-decoration: line-through;" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/">XML Sitemap</a>.</p>
<p>8.) Make sure your server returns the correct header response. Does it handle your error pages properly? Usually this is always perfect. But if not you need to understand bit and mail to your hosting provider. Actually this is related with .htaccess file.</p>
<p>9) Make sure you have unique title and meta tags for each of your pages. Dont and never use duplicate tags and keywords. Title is most important.</p>
<p>10) Monitor Google crawl rate for your site and see what works and what not. You can use either statcounter or google anlaytics<br />

<blockquote><p><span style="color: #800000;"><strong><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">You always see that you have many pages but Google is not able to crawl all pages. To make crawl all your pages Google, yahoo and MSN recommends pinging your sitemap. But what is sitemap? Sitemap is nothing but a format in which you includes list of all links you currently have on your site. By the telling your sitemap to search engines, they before hand knows you’re all pages and ensure that all pages are crawled.</span></span></strong></span></p></blockquote>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana;">&#8220;A </span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: verdana;">Sitemap </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">index is an XML file that lists the multiple XML sitemap files. Sitemap index is an XML sitemap for multiple XML sitemaps. </span><span id="more-197"></span><span style="font-family: verdana;">The XML format of a Sitemap index file is very similar to the XML format of a Sitemap file. It allows webmasters to include additional information about each XML sitemap (when it was last updated). After creation of a Sitemap index file webmasters can just notify search engines about the index file and the other XML sitemaps that are included in the Sitemap index file will be automatically notified too. “- </span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: verdana;">Wiki</span><span style="font-family: verdana;">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana;">Now pinging means notifying the search engine about updates in your sitemap. So, as soon as you update your sitemap you must ping it to the search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: verdana;">Some of the details for that are&#8230;.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana;"><a style="text-decoration: line-through;" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=34609">Google </a>=&gt;&gt; http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=</span><br />
<span style="font-family: verdana;"><a style="text-decoration: line-through;" rel="nofollow" href="http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/siteexplorer/siteexplorer-45.html">Yahoo </a>=&gt;&gt; http://search.yahooapis.com/SiteExplorerService/V1/ping?sitemap=</span><br />
<span style="font-family: verdana;"><a style="text-decoration: line-through;" rel="nofollow" href="http://webmaster.live.com/">MSN </a>=&gt;&gt; http://webmaster.live.com/ping.aspx?siteMap=</span><br />
<span style="font-family: verdana;"><a style="text-decoration: line-through;" rel="nofollow" href="http://about.ask.com/en/docs/about/webmasters.shtml#22">Ask </a>=&gt;&gt; http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana;">place your sitemap url after =</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: verdana;">After this you will see the effect in 2-3 days. You will probably find more pages in the search engines then before. </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">Note that you </span><strong style="font-family: verdana;">can’t force</strong><span style="font-family: verdana;"> Googlebot to visit you more often &#8211; what you can do is </span><strong style="font-family: verdana;">to invite</strong><span style="font-family: verdana;"> it to come.</span></p>
<p>Also, If you are using wordpress or blog content management system then you can use <a style="text-decoration: line-through;" rel="nofollow" href="http://autopinger.com/" target="_blank">AutoPinger.com</a><br />
