But let me tell you this is first time they have released any software which is Open Source. Although the browser just have basic facility and the API for that is yet to be released.

Many enginer are waiting for API to be released by Google so that they can create some addon to Chrome to make it more effective.

Currently no addon is supported. Even their is no google toolbar for Chrome. Although Chrome is easy to use lacks many additional features which we get from FireFox.

You must have been tired with seeing full of google ads or adbrite ads and would just think to remove that so that you see the article or web page more better though you couldn’t. But now for you their is good news. You can block those ads through Adblock Plus.

Adblock Plus is a content-filtering extension for the Mozilla Firefox and other web browsers like flocks which are mozilla based. Adblock Plus allows users to prevent page elements, such as advertisements, from being downloaded and displayed. New Adblock Plus includes notable improvements to the user interface, filter subscriptions, and element hiding. If we go on to count users it is more then 4 Million users using this addon daily.

You would be thinking how it can block the ads. Let me tell this in simple language. Most of ads are iframe based (including adsense, adbrite, yp) while some are simple tracking url based like text links etc. Adblock blocks HTTP request of iframes and this images from mozilla core and therefore hide this ads to you. Recent features allow even to block flash movies and other also. You will just need to install this addon and subscribe the list of ads url. If you find some ads which are not block then you can block it simply through right click on the mouse.

So for those who wants to use or atleast try this addon click here.
