I have used BritePic on some of my sites and was impressed by the earnings. This post is not based on what I have listen or what I have seen on others site or forums. This is my personal opinion based on my own experience.

I am big fan of Cricket (BIggest sports in India) and for that reason I have 80% sites related to cricket. So what I wanted from visitors that, they should first of choose a target market for their website. Example, If you a fan of Rugby, then you should analyze what type of sites are available on this niche. Suppose, if, there is no site for bookmarking of Rugby then you can open (for e.g. rugbydig.com) and try to submit articles to your own site from others site. Remember, you need to submit yourself most of articles at the first instance. Also, remember that you have no article not related with your site objective. This is very important. Also spammers will submit lot of unwanted sites through computer bots, so keep eye on them.

If you try by hard without thinking on Adsense or Adbrite earnings then you will get success, this is what I learnt from Internet.
